The Global Health Coach integrates a glucometer, a pedometer, GPS, cellular communications, and a touchscreen LCD display into a rugged but compact 65mm x 85mm x 20mm package (including the perimeter bumper). The device can access and update patient history on the EOSHealth website through the integrated cellular network. Psoup designers and engineers worked together to maintain the original design intent, while improving ergonomics, usability and redesigning for cost-effective manufacturing. Once the general design and manufacturing direction had been developed, Psoup fabricated multiple full-scale prototypes for validation testing with users and performance testing. Psoup met all goals of the project by greatly improving the ergonomics, reliability and clean ability of the instrument set as well as contributing to the improved strength of the crimp. This instrument set performs many of the functions of the Anulex Versaclose II, but in the application of fractures of large bones. Psoup performed the role of project management, the designer of the instruments, and the source of nearly all documents in the DHF, and the DMR.
