Principal Mechanical Engineer
Psoup is an established, growing, and independent product design firm specializing in the design, development, and manufacturing of medical devices. We employ an extremely talented team of professionals who work on a variety of truly innovative products alongside some amazing clients.
We are seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer with the following characteristics to join our team:
World-class mechanical engineering skills. First and foremost, Psoup is looking for a high-level, degreed, mechanical engineer who can conceive of and execute extraordinary and elegant solutions to design problems. You must be a great, hands-on product designer and these skills must have been demonstrated professionally for at least ten years.
Excellent product development skills. The engineer we seek has the inclination and the ability to perform all the tasks necessary to bring a product successfully to market per ISO 13485. You must write plans that may span years and lead teams through all phases of development. You must develop and write product specifications, as well as protocols and reports to test those specifications. You must understand how products are manufactured and be able to push those processes to their limits.
Excellent business, project management, and communication skills. Psoup engineers interact with clients, suppliers, fellow engineers, and industrial designers daily. The engineer we seek will have the personality and aptitude to effectively lead their development team.

Mechanical Design Engineer
Psoup is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with the following characteristics:

First and foremost, Psoup is looking for a mid to high-level, degreed, mechanical engineer who can conceive extraordinary and elegant solutions to design problems and execute them. You must be a great, hands-on product designer and these skills must have been demonstrated professionally for at least five years.
Excellent product development skills. The engineer we seek is also a person who has the inclination and the ability to perform all the tasks necessary to bring a product to market. You must write plans and lead teams. You must develop and write product specifications, as well as protocols and reports to test those specifications. You must understand how products are manufactured and be able to push those processes to their limits.
Excellent business and communication skills. Great ideas go nowhere if you are not able to articulate them. Psoup engineers interact with clients, suppliers, and team members every day and you must not only tolerate those interactions but actually enjoy them.

Quality Assurance Technician
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct routine quality inspections throughout the production or manufacturing process, including in-process and final inspections
Perform equipment calibrations
Maintain documentation of all inspections
Assist with problem resolution
Suggest process improvements
Spot test products and analyze your sampling
Report issues to management and the assembly line workers
Help perfect the products before release
Qualified expertise in our QMS
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED certificate
Associate degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)
Quality control experience
Familiarity with standard quality management systems
Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts
Manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred
Ability to read technical drawings
Ability to use a variety of precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers
Ability to work alone with minimal supervision
Ability to analyze and interpret technical information
Attention to detail
Med Device, ISO 13485 experience preferred
