Circle Biologics (now Celling Biosciences)

Autologous fluid concentration and biologic fluid management devices.

The Circle Biologics ePRP project demonstrates Psoup's product development versatility and its ability to design disposable devices. The device received its 510(k) in June 2010.

On this project, Psoup performed the role of Circle Biologic's entire product development department, by doing everything necessary to bring this procedure to human use.  In the course of this project, Psoup designed and documented the ePRP, a device for selecting a patient's platelet rich plasma, modified a centrifuge for separating the blood, designed a device for transferring the PRP back into the sterile field after processing, in addition to designing all the packaging and labeling. Furthermore, Psoup chose and managed the manufacturing partners as well as some of the verification and validation resources.
