Open positions
Setup Machinist
Due to growth in our production machining, Psoup is looking for an experienced CNC setup machinist to join the team. The candidate will be responsible for producing production components using CNC mills and lathes, including setting up and operating the machines, inspecting parts, adjusting the machines to maintain tolerances, finishing parts, and assembling components into functional devices. The candidate will also be required to produce the associated quality documentation demonstrating that the parts meet requirements.
Responsibilities
Produce production components in CNC mills and lathes, including setting up the machines, operating the machines, inspecting parts, and adjusting the machines to maintain tolerances.
Finish the produced parts by grinding, deburring, bead blasting, and other common shop processes.
Assemble components into functional devices following work instructions.
Produce accurate documentation demonstrating that the parts meet requirements.
Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of the machines and the shop.
Qualifications
Trade school certification for machining
A minimum of 3 years of machining experience, preferably in a machine shop operating under a quality system
The ability to understand and edit code and CAM programs (ideally using MasterCAM), to set up, and to operate CNC mills and lathes
The ability to inspect parts
The ability to finish parts
The ability to assemble parts into functional devices
Good verbal and written communication skills
Computer literacy
Compensation: $25.00/hour -35.00/hour

Manufacturing Engineer
Due to growth in our production machining, Psoup is looking for a manufacturing engineer to join the team. The candidate will be primarily responsible for managing production jobs, which includes reviewing the client’s PO for accuracy and changes, producing the routers, purchasing the raw materials and tooling, coordinating and writing the PO’s for outside services, initiating and managing the production and inspection of the components and assemblies, ensuring that the proper documentation has been produced, and putting the job away in preparation for future production.
Responsibilities
Participate in process development.
Manage production jobs.
Produce production routers.
Purchase raw materials and tooling.
Coordinate outside services.
Produce batch records, demonstrating that the devices meet quality requirements.
Store the completed job in a complete and organized manner.
Qualifications
Trade school certification for machining or an associate’s degree in engineering
Machining experience is preferred
A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing machine shop jobs
Ability to interpret complex drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Experience operating under a quality system
Experience with SolidWorks
Good verbal and written communication skills
Computer literacy
Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 annual salary
